This privacy policy explains how PrimexBoard ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you visit primexboard.com or use our service.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your email address, name, and password (stored as a salted hash). Company information: anything you submit when claiming a block — company name, website, logo, tagline, address, contact details, social links, team member details, and uploaded documents. Payment information: handled by Stripe — we receive only confirmation that payment succeeded plus the customer ID. We never see or store your credit card number. Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and analytics. Communication: any messages you send us via email or contact forms.

To provide and operate the service. To process payments and renewals. To send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, renewal reminders, security alerts). To verify your identity and prevent fraud. To improve our product based on usage patterns. To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for third-party advertising.

Information you choose to display on your company profile (logo, name, tagline, about text, contact details, social links, team members, services, address) is intentionally public and indexed by search engines. Do not put information here you don't want public.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

6. Data retention

Active accounts: your data is retained while your account is active. Cancelled accounts: most data is deleted within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal purposes (typically 7 years for invoices).

You can request access to your data, correction of inaccuracies, deletion of your account and all associated data, and a portable export. Email us to exercise these rights — we respond within 30 days.

If you're in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to lodge complaints with your data protection authority.

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (industry standard). All payment processing happens over TLS-encrypted connections direct to Stripe. We do not store credit card data. We use secure session cookies with HTTPS-only and HttpOnly flags.

Despite our best efforts, no method of transmission is 100% secure. We will notify affected users without undue delay if a data breach occurs.

PrimexBoard is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced by email to active customers. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
